I walked over to the art show.  On the way in - after I bought my ticket - this couple were coming out saying "Well, that was sure a big disappointment! There was nothing there!"  WTF?  The show had started at noon and this was 12:45 and already they were done and disappointed?  Oh dear. 

But, it turns out they were dead wrong.  It was great.  Fun.  And energizing.  Mostly I just looked and smiled and looked and smiled.  So much was so pretty and so thoughtful and so original.  It was just fun to be surrounded by all that.  I just wandered from booth to booth taking it all in and then did the whole thing again.  I found two things I wanted so after going through twice I went back.

I bought a pair of earrings  - one a tiny enamel blue flower and the other an enamel green leaf.

It's actually a lazysusan so it stand out from the wall a bit and is spinnable!

The artist is up the road a piece and had some very cool stuff.  But this was the coolest and I've been on the hunt for something excellent for that spot for a long time.   She had me send her the Benjamin Moore nums of my purple and lime so she can tweak hers to go with. 

Ok, work is beeping at me.

Thank you! I'm pretty tickled about this piece. I do love bright colors - I love the colors of the tropics and weather of the artic!
