Another not great day!

I just clicked over to Netflix to see if they got the DVD's I returned yet and found this...

I like that I didn't get a page not found and that I got a estimated up time - even if they are lying, it's better than nothing.

Meanwhile I am having a chemical day here - everything I touch is turning to shit. I have made a couple of big bloopers at work and it's really pissing me off. I don't understand why I'm not perfect.

9:58am - it's back up! I really do like Netflix.
I get about a 2 day turnaround time when I send
one back in. And not having to deal with late
charges (my kids would lend movies out and not
return them in time) is just wonderful!!

Yep! Ya gotta also love an outfit smart enough to guess long on their estimate!

My first go round with Netflix was the pits. The round trip from Seattle to Las Gatos, CA and back was usually 9-10 days. That came out to about $10 a movie for me. A leeetle steep.

Since they added the Tacoma warehouse, I can pop my moview into Monday's mail and I usually have the next one by Wednesday. Much more better!

You know I read this and thought... how nice and thoughtful and considerate.

And then I went and cleaned up the kitchen. And while I'm cleaning up the kitchen I thought, 'you know what? she may have something here. no, i'm not perfect, but big whop if i'm not. i'm sorry i disappointed my manager but fuck, she's disappointed me a fair share herownself. and what if she's really pissed off and fires me? i was looking for a job when i found this one and i can find another one or learn how to encourage my customers to supersize those fucking fries.'

And, by the time I got back to the computer I was a new woman. So... really and truly. Thank you.
