I did 30 minutes of treadmill with one prolongated sprint... it was good.

While treadmilling, I was watching a guy in the classroom.  Last Saturday, Rosie gave me a new exercise which is impossible to do.  It involves lifting up into position and then holding there.  I could barely lift up on Saturday.  On Tuesday, I got up and held for possibly 2 seconds - probably 1.  This morning there was a guy in the classroom doing the exact same exercise only he got up perfectly and held it for more than a minute!  Plus he looked like he could have stayed there all day.  Cripe.

Maybe tomorrow I'll try for 2.5 seconds.

I was late getting to the gym so there were really very few people in there - pretty much just me and plank boy - it was strange.

I go back this afternoon to talk to the physical therapist and see what things I need to do and not do to prevent my back from another episode...

But, now... it's shower time.

I’m guessing the exercise is the Plank? Where you hold yourself up straight on your elbows and toes?

In my old gym there was a rugby player who’d do it for a good couple of minutes. With a medicine ball on his back. And then do it on either side too…

It’s great for your core strength though!

The Plank? That's brutal. I managed 65 seconds once, and was still sore my next training session. I forget whether it was from a Monday until a Friday or vice-versa.
