Yep, that's what they said... And, I suspect they get to keep the bump as well. Wow. They said they didn't have a clue how much my insurance would pay but that I could call the insurance company and ask. I think I'll let 'em surprise me.

I vaguely recall that the 30 second exam was over $100 and the surgery was another $650 (billed to my insurance, thank heavens)

they send it to a lab to make sure it's not something that needs further treatment.

Wonder how much that works out to per hour? 20 years ago I had 2 large cysts removed from my back and that cost $1100 back then (out patient--with believe it or not 48 shots of novocain--it didn't hurt but I could feel him cutting away-- plus lab work)
