Cell Phone Contagen?
Mar. 29th, 2008 11:44 amTwo of my long time LJ friends -
kjaz and
teasdale, in the past week have gone from 'cellphone? I don't need one, I don't want one, I'm perfectly ok with being The Only Person On The Planet Without One' to cellphone owners! They live on opposite sides of the country, have opposite lives, are not LJ friends of each other. Got entirely different cellphone/plans. It's such an odd coincidence.
But, I know they will both be happy that they have come over to the dark side. A phone in your pocket is a handy thing to have in an emergency. And beats the hell out of the dime in your shoe we all used live with.

Mobile phones could kill far more people than smoking or asbestos, a study by an award-winning cancer expert has concluded. He says people should avoid using them wherever possible and that governments and the mobile phone industry must take "immediate steps" to reduce exposure to their radiation.
Eeeeep. Good thing I'm only gonna use it for emergencies, huh? *wink*
This also seems like a good time to introduce myself to
