one more half day this week - whew

This week has really sucked eggs for the most part and I am not sorry to see it go. I don't have much on my plate for work in the morning and then there's free pizza for lunch. Then I'm going to go deliver my latest batch of afghans and knitted socks. And then I'm going to enjoy my weekend.

Next week has some challenges. It starts with my bumpectomy. Then Wednesday and Thursday I am stuck in the quarterly all day sales meetings. These sessions are always incredibly dreadful. My buddy, Kenny, said today that he was getting my loaner laptop ready. What a sweetheart. This means I will have LJ access - you guys can all suffer with me! And, this time I have found a version of Spider Solitaire that works on Windows2K so maybe I can manage.

I plan to use the weekend to work on my attitude. And, maybe file these four or five piles of shit that have grown up around my computer. I might even take a stab at my taxes. Maybe.

Well I,for one, think your attitude is just fine. Looks like you will have time for taxes. That should be counter-productive to the attitude thing.

The tax thing is usually a good thing. I'm a pretty good tax planner so that my deductible is nearly on target, at least for the past few years. I've gotten refunds of $100 and $200 but mostly I manage to come out even. This year I unloaded some tanking investments which might have screwed up my even-ness but the penalty will only be a bigger refund. I can live with that.
