And have calmed down a lot...  I figured out that the prescription is for 2 pairs of glasses and contacts.   In addition to the computer glasses, there is also a prescription for bifocals.   Interesting.  I've never tried them.  But, that would solve the taking off and putting on and putting on and never having them when/where I needed them...  hmmmm

Maybe what I'll do is order bifocals from some place like http://www.theeyeglassguy.com/home/ and give them  try.

It took a month or two (a long time) for me to get used to them, but now I can't live without them for day-to-day life. Two exceptions. I still like single vision readers for extended sessions at the computer screen. Also, I use single vision distance when I fly as the progressives play havoc with my peripheral vision.

JJ?? What's so unfortunately-named about JJ? :) Although on second thought Oprah would probably turn it into vajj... Ok having a first name that is near slang for a female body part and a last name that indicates nothing good clearly fits into the unfortunately-named category. Now, of course, I'll never hear it again without making the connection. Thanks.

I've had bifocals since I was 5 years old. You'll like not having to keep changing your glasses around.
