It could be worse
Apr. 5th, 2008 02:12 pmMy oil change guy would have nothing to do with the hood problem. He pointed out two nearby body shops but when I asked if he thought either of them were good and which one was the best, I got nothing. All I got was that he wouldn't be changing my oil until I got the hood fixed so it could open and close.
I've now found a couple of others as well so I guess on Monday I'll go body shop hunting. At least the car drives. And I have time to fuck with it. And I have the money to fix it (although I'd be happier saving same).
Ok. On to other things. I have time for one episode of The Wire before the baseball game.

Date: 2008-04-07 03:07 am (UTC)A good body guy can just straighten the hood without fixing the cosmetic damage- that way the hood works, but you don't have to blow a bunch of money on a 9-year-old car.
The Mazda dealer up in U-Dist had us take our brand new car to a bodyshop on 99 around 100th- I can dig up the info if you want it.
