I must have a screw loose...

I noticed more water than usual pooling at the bottom of my dishwasher this morning so I investigated.  It had been a while since I'd cleaned out that food trap.  I pulled it out and ugh.  Gunk and unpopped popcorn and two - I shit you not - small rusted screws.

I have no clues.  Did I eat the rest of the screws?  I'm not rabid about totally washing all dishes before they go into the dishwasher but I would I do look at them and I would think I might have noticed errant hardware.

Guess not.  My dishwasher is one of the two drawer deals.  I'm almost afraid to check the second drawer.  I don't use it often but still...

I wonder if my dishwasher has a food trap? I think it's at least thirty years old. I wouldn't know where to look for a food trap. Hmmm.
