Miscellaney...
Apr. 10th, 2008 11:32 amThe Mariners game started at 9:30 this morning. I love the west coast. On the down side, of course, they are getting their mostly adorable butts kicked.

When you kill your wireless network and then replace it, there's no end to the stuff that has to be informed. Seems like I should be able to stand in the middle of the living room and say "Ok, everyone now using susandennis_enjoy, please switch to susandennis_413. Now. Thank you."
But, no. Each TiVo has to be told. Each computer has to be told. And this morning the Eye-Fi card got all whinny about being left out of the loop.
I think everyone should be happy now but who knows? Geesh.

I did hear from my new CPA that the filing that the old CPA did won't hurt a thing. Whew. I'll feel better when I get written confirmation that that invoice is reversed.
--
The other day when I moved the nightstand and found the mother load of Travis' mice, also found was an old old old cat toy that I thought I had thrown out. It's pitiful. Once furry, now with bare spots. And zero personality. And he loves it to pieces. He's been carrying it around for three days now.
Guess which one it is?

--
I wonder when my car will be ready to come home? I need a 25 foot ethernet cable. And there's a book on hold at the library.

Someone has not done any laundry in so long that I'm about 2 days away from making the susandennis web cams one heck of a show.

I admit it was for well less than a whole second, but I did briefly wonder why you would need a 25 foot ethernet cable in order to bring your car home when it was ready. Talk about mis-interpreting!

Date: 2008-04-12 03:24 pm (UTC)On the cat toys, my oldest LOVES the toys like the pink one in the bottom left-hand corner. She carries these things around announcing to the house of her latest 'kill'. I need to get her on video as she's super loud. She used to stop the wailing when I'd show up but since she can't hear very well anymore, I am able to sneak up and watch her for a bit before she realizes I'm there.
I used to be able to buy them at Winn-Dixie. However, they closed up shop around here. Can you buy them in your area? If so, would you mind picking up a couple of packages and sending them to me? I can send you enough money for the toys and shipping first.
