A good day!

Background: I work in a small - fewer than 50 people - company and we work in what was an Italian restaurant before we moved in. A good part of the office has clay tile on the floor. We have three women who work in this office who insist on wearing the loudest shoes possible and prancing. (I mean they make the most noise they can possibly make given their loud shoes and the tile floor.)

There are three other women (as well as 6 men) who work in this same room and you can hardly hear us coming ever (a factor of both shoes and stride).

And now to my point - whew! Did we ever think she'd get there??? - the loudest walker today, for the first time since she came to work here, wore sneakers!!! You can still hear her walking but wow how nice it is not to have it crammed down my eardrum.

Forget World Peace (or Peas) and the tragedies of the globe... let's just focus on me and my annoying co-workers... Ok, that's enough. Thanks.

Don't even get me started. I am not that nice a person on a good day and these three and their struts have forced me to research justifiable homicide. I'll let you know if I uncover any big loopholes.

One of the three LSG's* got fired today and not the sneaker wearer. I'm down to 2 and both of them are only in the office part time. Wow. I may get to save my homicide skills after all... My annoyance meter should get a good rest, too!

Oh... not to worry, I'm sure someone is going to piss me off again soon (it takes soooo little) and I'll be back on the homicide team... stay tuned.
