Whew!

The car is done and so am I.  Note to self:  It's better to clean out the car more often than once every 9 years. 

I found the registration for every year since 1999 and the insurance cards - 2 a year - for every year since 1999 EXCEPT the most recent one.  I found two very good screwdrivers that I really need up here.  I found a dozen cassette tapes - one Crosby, Stills and Nash one that will get me past this NPR pledge drive nicely.  I could absolutely open up the Archive of Random Google Maps going back to the birth of Google Maps.  I found shoes and sweaters and hats and sunglasses.  If I were a nice person, I'd return all of the McDonald's bags back to McDonald's.  They wouldn't have to buy new for a long time.  I found a pack of cigarettes and several flashlights that do not work.

I am beat.  There is something down there in the garage/storage area that wreaks havoc with my breathing apparatus.  I just can't stay down there very long.  But at least in the garage part it's not quite so bad.  I had one major coughing/can't breathe fit that I saved with a bottle of water and then I just finished up quickly and got the fuck out of there.  But, it is done.  Whew.

And I really really really do stink.   I am going to take a shower now.

Well, considering how little mileage it has, it's probably about the same "cleaning per mile" ratio as anyone else. :)

Yeah, but think how much more you've done in those 9 years other than car cleaning! I'm sure the time has been well spent. :-)
