Where did the morning go????

susandennisI use all kinds of publishing apps but two of them offer instant availabilty. This means when I hit publish, it's live on the web right then.
This morning, I had a page to publish with one of the apps. I hit publish. Nothing. Nada. I waited. Nothing. Nada. I did it again. Nothing. I tried four other things. Nothing. I did some research. Nada. And only after looking for the razor to slit my wrists with did I realize I had published the wrong file.
Two hours later. I'm busy doing stuff and now I need to publish another file on the other instant publishing system. I publish. This app has a nice little report function. When the publish is done, it tells me it is. But the page isn't live. Etc. Etc. You know where this is going... Once again, I published the wrong fucking file!!!
My troubleshooting routine is going to be tailered for Step 1. Did you publish the correct file?????

I popped over here to write a Monday morning LJ entry and the clock struck 12. So now this is a Monday afternoon LJ entry.

Front Door TV Network is showing that someone is moving out today and they have giant wooden crates. Wonder if they have just particular stuff that requires special packaging or if it's going via special shipping... hmmmm Probably, I'll need to 'bump' into Scott today and find out. A nosey neighbor's job is never done.

All the big expendatures have cleared my Credit Union account. Car included. Whew. Wonder what the next unforseen $$ will be. I'm betting dental.

I need a manicure. My nails are all out of shape and my cuticles are a mess. And getting messier since I keep snagging them on yarn. There's a new place down the road here about a mile that I'm thinking about trying. They are only open Wednesday-Friday so I have to wait and not forget. They do take walk ins and I think I'll walk in this coming Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
