I'm over my little bout of colloquialism and am now interested in hearing what the Brits who call in to BBC have to say about Iraq. I figure anyone who can manage to remember all of those numbers long enough to dial the phone, must have interesting things to say. Alas, I have a repeat of Weekend Edition.

Sometimes there is no pleasing me.

Generally , the feeling in the UK is that Blair is acting like Bush's poodle :( Majority of folk don't want to go to war and cannot see the reason for it. I think they feel as though there hasn't been enough definite proof that Iraq has definite links with El Q'uida (sp?) or that they have weapons of mass destruction hidden away.

A lot of the tabloid newspapers are very anti war , the broadsheets tend to be a tad more phlegmatic
