The headhunters are on the prowl.  In the past two days I have gotten two emails and one call from people reading or rather mis-reading my resume and wanting me to be interested in insurance sales, infrastructure management and another something that I can't even remember.  These dudes are pitiful.  The stretch from their jobs to my resume is not scientifically possible.  Plus, guys... I'm a nearly 60 year old woman.  Are you nuts???

I can't imagine any job offer of any kind that would be attractive to me so I think it's time to take my resume off line. 

But, I really do feel sorry for these guys.  How desperate must they be???

lately i get two kinds of solicitations ...

one kind comes from posted resumes ... i can ignore most of those--they try to get me to do jobs i stopped doing twenty years ago for money that wouldn't pay a convenience store clerk ...

the other kind comes from personal reference and/or linkedin. those are almost all decent fits, but i'm not really looking.

i'm getting more of the second kind lately ...

I think they're clued into your awesomeness, so much that little details like work experience are inconsequential.
