I got my day's work in and now I'm taking the evening off.  I've had a lovely dinner and hung up my new art!

The living room has looked like this since Sheri - the designer left in 2005. It was fine but that spot over the TV always bugged me. I found a great piece at an art show and bought it but then never heard from the artist - no delivery and no charge to my credit card... just disappeared.



And then I got an email from the woman from whom I bought my fabulous shower curtain last Fall. She was having a sale. And she had wall art as well as shower curtains. I bought and it arrived today. It is more beautiful that I thought.

So I moved some stuff around and gave the new art its home. It is so perfect. It looks like she painted it for just this space and just me.



The artist is b.mclane.

Thanks. You know rarely a day goes by where I don't literally have the thought 'how cool is it that I get to live here!' I'm very grateful.

I know! I can't believe how very perfect it is. And... yep 3 years - amazing, eh? I do remember all the people who said I would get tired of the colors. They were wrong. :)

I know I've said this before but I really love the color scheme in your house. The vase in the painting reminds me of the outside of a lighthouse.
