Yahoo! I'm tired ot these suckers and ready for them to be gone.

Poor Jake, he was napping peacefully on the bed when I got home. I hadn't heard him sneeze much at all - not last night or this morning. But, I dutifully gave him a shot of his medicine. Sneeze city! And, the medicine is hot pink - a very staining hot pink. He sneezed hot pink all over everywhere. He seems otherwise fine. Eating fine. No change in personality. Just very annoyed at having to have the medicine. I think maybe, unless he sneezes from now until in the morning, we may just forgo the medicine and see how we get along. Poor guy.

I saw my first Segway today! Some dude was rolling down the sidewalk that runs from my condo, he crossed the street and went by my office and on up the street. Funky.

Ah, the Pink Stuff...that's what we call it, anyway. When we first got Noodles (AKA: The Gold Standard of Kitties), she came down with one helluva case of the sniffles. Li'l Miss Sneezyhead, she was. The vet prescribed the Pink Stuff, and Noodles couldn't get enough of it. She LOVED it...sucked it up like a Hoover Deluxe!

For some reason, our vet doesn't give out with the Pink Stuff anymore. Now it's white stuff. It'll never be the same!

I guess I'm just too old school. I didn't see the big draw for the Segway. But I've lived in suburbia all my life. It seems too impractical and just another expensive toy. No roof for the rain or hot sun, no cargo space, and you have to hold on, don't you, so how could you carry anything? Does it maneuver steps, curbs and the like? What do you do with it when you get where you're headed? Can you pick it up and carry it in? Do you chain it to a mailbox?

I'm hopelessly old fashioned.

Don't stop with the medicine. It's an antibiotic, yes? Just like with humans, with cats and antibiotics, the worst of the symptoms may fade before the illness is fully cured. If you stop early, you're encouraging resistant bacteria and potentially it will be harder to cure the next time around.

That guy on the Segway is most likely "pt", a regular over on Pocket PC Thoughts (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com). In fact, there's an article there about him (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7888) with a link to a local TV station's news coverage of him.
