Jake is not a passionate or energetic cat. Betty loves to play hide and seek. Jake plays meatloaf. If you can see him moving, that's his top speed. Until I get out the goldfish crackers. For some really mysterious reason he will knock over a truck to get to the goldfish crackers. I can hardly eat them in my house because I have to battle him over every one.

So. This morning, I took a bit of his canned food and about four goldfish crackers and hid the pink stuff in the mix. Nothing. He at the one cracker that had the least amount of pink stuff on it and ignored the rest. So we had a battle again. But, this time I did the dose in smaller increments, in the bathroom. I'm pretty sure he got a full dose.

He's still snezzing but not as snotty. And, he seems other wise perfectly fine. Eating, eyes clear, etc. Strange.

I hope poor Jake is ok.

Isn't it a BITCH to give cats medicines/

With dogs, they just GULP down anything you hide in their food.

But cats are like Santa. THEY KNOW!

There is a pharmicist here who will flavor animal medicine so that it tastes like tuna or beef. Ask your vet if they know who would do that or call a local non-chain pharmacy and ask if there is a pharmacist who does a lot of compounding and flavoring either there or elsewhere. If my town of 100,000 has one I'm sure there is someone in Seattle who can do it for you.
