I appreciate the work and will enjoy the income but I'm kind of ready for a break.  I'm not sure if there is more stuff to do tonight or if tomorrow will be quiet while they look over stuff or what.  I haven't asked and probably they (the project manager and boss and client) don't even really know.  I'll just go with the flow.  I love not having to make decisions.

Betty spent a lot of today back in the fish room in her special nap spot.  The door to the hall (which is right there) was open and I walked back there a couple of times and she didn't so much as move a whisker.  At 5, Travis was hanging around me (in the living room - a good 50-75 feet down the hall) and I said to him in a not very loud voice 'you ready for dinner?' That's all it took.  Betty was in the kitchen in a flash!  She cracks me up.

I don't want to fill friendslists and rss readers with redundancy so I won't post the picture.  I saw it the first day and have since seen it all over everywhere and every time I have to love it all over again.  I really think this is my very favorite icanhascheeseburger photo

When I first got out on my own, I was quite surprised and very annoyed to learn that I actually had to spend my hard earned money on stupid stuff like toilet paper and window cleaner.  It just didn't seem fair.  I have the same kind of feeling about apples.  I love apples but $2 a pound?  Come on!  Those suckers are heavy! Slap a surcharge on potato chips or Cheetos.  Apples are good for me, shouldn't they be cheaper?

My nose bleed has not come back.  Thankfully.  Humidifier for sleeping tonight.

Ooops more work just came in.  Later...

RE: Apples... The expense is insane! I asked my produce manager at the store I shop at and he told me that apples are "out of season" and thus that's why the expense. Still it surprises me to hear that apples in Washington are that price when that is where a lot of them come from!

While shopping on Saturday, a guy in the paper aisle picked up a package of toilet paper turned to his wife and said "I can't believe I have to spend $15 to wipe my ass." Oh well, looks like things will be this way for a long time to come.
