Car is half of cardio.  I got to the gym and discovered that I had left by Zen player at home!  It's the first time I have ever done that.  I can't do 30 minutes of treadmill with no diversion!  Tija has a bunch of magazines that always look interesting when I have no time to read them.  Today, of course, I couldn't find any that I wanted to read while treadmilling.  I finally settled on two and struck a bargain with myself.  15 minutes at a fast speed (no warm up) and an incline and then I could go.  So I cranked it up.  I ended up doing 20 minutes with 2 minutes of back walking cool down.  So it wasn't as bad as it could have been but I am still a slacker.

And tomorrow I might just do treadmilling instead of that current program that I hate.   I think I mentioned recently, I am the boss of me.  So there

From time to time I either forget to bring my iPod to the gym or discover that the battery is dead when I get there. Very annoying, and my workout is usually shorter as a result. I did a new one on Monday: I discovered I accidentally synced it without specifying a playlist that could fit on the iPod memory, so there was nothing on it! I really need to be better about these things or my workouts are going to keep getting shorter.
