Perfect!

My new radio/cd/etc arrived and it is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. nt, thank you! I would have never found this on my own. It looks nice. It sounds nice. It's the absolutely perfect size. I'm just delighted. (It's a Sangean and plays from CD's/SD cards and USB drives.)

The big big news is that the woman I found yesterday and thought was my friend from years ago, really is!! She sent the funnest short note to tell me I'd hit pay dirt and she'd send details when she got home from work. But, to prove that she was she she added "And as a verification: your mother used to pick out all the green M&Ms for you because you liked them best!"

She's exactly right and I had totally forgotten. I once cracked that the green M&M's were far superior to the rest. Every after, whenever Mom would send out care packages, mine included a bag of M&M's will all colors removed except green. (My brother and sister never knew what green tasted like.) Today it does not seem that strange since M&M's will make them whatever way you want and some rock star got a reputation for No Yellows but back then, it was a hoot to open up a bag and see all green.

Anyway, I can't wait to hear from her with more details of herself for the past 30+ years. I sent her a link to this journal so she may well be reading this... "Hi Susan!"

Today is the big launch day for the project that's had many of my waking hours. I don't know what time. I don't want to bother anyone working on last minute details. There will be lots of clean up work but for now, my world is quiet which is fine by me.
