susandennisUntil yesterday the weather news was all about how cold it was for this time of year. Now we have heat warnings. I'm guessing that a heat warning is like a tornado warning? Yesterday we broke a record set in 1995. I lived here in 1995 and had no air conditioning. Ugh.
But I can't spend the entire day hiding here in the dark and cool. I need to go across the street to the gym when it opens and then at 11:30 my friend - Arlene - is coming and we're going to the Crab Pot down on the waterfront. I hope they are air conditioned but I'm sure they are not. Oh well. We made these plans long ago and it would be too much hassle to change them now.
Thanks to the air conditioner and the ceiling fan, I know I can come back here and get cool again.
