A break in the action...
Jul. 9th, 2008 04:08 pmMy todo list is todone except from two things that are on hold waiting for more info and an updated template. Whew.
My neighbor, Ann, is on the neighborhood preservation board and was on her way to one of their meetings when I ran into her this morning. The pounding had already started for the day and I asked her to see if she could find out how old I will be when they ever stop.
And then they stopped. Somewhere around mid-morning. So for the record. I am 59 years old.
And speaking of my age, I just discovered that in 8 more months I will be eligible for the senior discount at the movie theaters!! Of course, the only movie that I want to see badly enough to go to a movie theater is Mama Mia which is coming out 8 months too soon for me to get that discount.
The last time I went to a movie theater it was to see Hugh Grant. In Two Weeks Notice. I just looked that up and it was in 2002.
machupichu goes to the movies enough for both of us. I wouldn't mind seeing Sex and the City which is still playing at a theater that is a very convenient free bus ride from here. But, do I go? No. So what in the heck makes me think I'll go to see Mama Mia?
I'm Netflix's bitch.
I also checked the bus system. I've got 5 years and 8 months until they give me a discount.
Wonder about MacDonald's... maybe it's time for me to find me a website for old people that lists how old is old for discounts. Later... new bug just came in.
Back to work for moi.
