This will shock some. Probably I should put it behind a cut. It shocks me a little. Really.

The Tree that I Hate? I'm not hating so much this year. Seriously. In previous years its leaves were half green and half brown/yellow and shed this horrible dusty stuff. But, this year, it's very green - bordering on lush.

And... in the early mornings... it is now full enough to give me some shade. Tomorrow I'll grab a picture of it.

It still blocks my view so I cannot see if donkeys are flying and I'm far from loving the tree but I'm having a hard time holding on to the hate.

Plus today is wonderful weather wise. It's a little overcast and breezy. I can have the door open and, miracle of miracles, the pounding boys must be at an offsite. No pounding at all today. Very very nice.

I've been thinking about your tree because there's a growing tree outside of my 4th floor apartment that I'm growing to hate! Not that my view is all that great, but it's blocking more and more of it. I will be moving eventually, but in the meantime I'm happy to adopt your hate. :)

Glad to adopt it! I'll also get a photo up soon, so that everyone can follow my tree.

Well, having seen it from the outside, it's a beautiful broad-leaf maple and the alleged view it hides is mostly parking lot and not the most attractive angle of the pair of stadiums at the far end of the lot. Beats having a condo built across the street.

Beware! If you start liking a tree now, you might feel the urge to move to the suburbs in a few years. :)
