Keepin' cool

susandennisI'm having lovely Saturday and, so far, a cool one. As long as it is cloudy until about 11 a.m., my house stays about 25% cooler than when the sun screams in first thing. The past few days, the sun has been hidden until at least mid-morning so I have some residual cool, too. And I'm so very grateful.
The kitchen is clean. I also replaced the 'grass' in my terrace window boxes. The original stuff faded from green to brown. I got a different kind several weeks ago but it has been too hot to fuck with it. Today is it nice and cool and breezy out there. So I did the deed and then cleaned up all of the old stuff that had fallen over the edge and sprinkled by birds. Vacuumed up the terrace and wiped down the table and chairs.
Today's game is not on TV. The one game not on TV this year and it's roll back the clock day. Wonder what kind of crack the schedulers were smokin... I am going to toss in a load of laundry and then I might just take my fish and radio and enjoy my terrace this afternoon. I'm doing one teddy bear and then one fish (the smaller one) and then on teddy bear, etc. It's nice to have a mix.
