I have these drawers under the bed in the front room. They are very large and custom made. Sometimes they actually do open a bit themselves like when Roomba bumps them. But I have, for a long time now wondered how they are so often open when Roomba hasn't been in the room and neither have I.

Today I found out the secret. Betty opens them!!

When I came in from the dentist I caught in her action. She rolls on her back on the floor and maneuvers under the drawer edge and then pushes with her feet to get it started. Then she rights herself and stretches up along side and pushes it out with her front paws and then hops in!

I was stunned - way too stunned to get the video camera but I think I'm going to keep it back there for a while and see if I can catch her again. I'm amazed and impressed.

Very clever cat. At least you know that she isn't operating the Roomba.
