Another beautifully cool day

These past couple of weeks have been heaven. I'm sure it will not last so I'm trying to enjoy the heck out of it.

I have an appointment tomorrow with the dentist to get an impression made for a mouth guard. The appointment is at 8:30. So, I think instead of the treadmill tomorrow, I'll just get up and hit the streets and walk to the dentist instead of taking the bus. Then, because work is still slow, I am going to meander home maybe stopping here and there. It should be cool and wonderful.

I LOVE this Marzetti's Cream Cheese Fruit Dip. I like their caramel and their chocolate dips but I love the cream cheese one. I have found it only one place in town so today I went back to that place and bought 3. The expiration date is Halloween. I think I can make them last that long.

My neighbor, Ann, is going to have knee replacement surgery soon and I have been on the lookout for her so I could find out when and let her know if she or her husband need anything while she's laid up to let me know. Today when I was coming back from the grocery store, I saw her slowly making her way down the hall with a walker. Guess the deed had been done. I called and left a message on their machine. Hope she heels fast and the new knee is a winner.

I did the same kind of stocking up when I found smoked almonds for $2.99, half off. They'll be good until 2010 but probably will be gone by 10/2 (or sooner).

I'll have to try the fruit dips some time. Something new...
