My sinus/tooth nerve/whatever is totally gone today. I think I am turning into a dental hypochondriac.

An anonymous commenter suggested very nicely that I make the eyes on my teddy bears in a smaller triangle in relation to the nose. A very welcome suggestion because I have never been very confidant about where exactly the eyes should go. My next bear is very nearly to the eyes and nose placement part of the build process. Can't wait to try out the suggestion!

I just got off the phone with Comcast. A very interesting call. I started off by saying that I know there is nothing that can be done now but that I felt like I was blindsided by both the customer service rep and the technician by the secret charged they placed on my bill. The lady was very nice and apologized. Several times. She said she would talk to the supervisor and of the technician and I suggested she also talk to the supervisor of the call center person who should have told me of the possibility. I added that I was not arguing about the charge "frankly, you could have charged me 3 times that amount and I would have thought it was fair but the way you did it was just sleazy." She put me on hold and came back and told me that she had credited my account for the full amount.
That's the way to win a happy customer. Moving my internet to Comcast would involve some very complicated cabling issues so I'm not likely to do it on a whim, but Qwest had better not fuck with me cause I am one re-cabling away from switching.

howeird's very good suggestion, I also ordered a spare drive to match the other two. Found a very reasonably priced one at Tech4Less. So next time I won't have to deal with that mocking icon. The spare arrives today, too. I'm an Out For Delivery Bitch today!

In my experience, you can absolutely count on Qwest to fuck with you eventually.
They're a big reason I switched to Comcast, and why I use my cell phone exclusively and don't bother with a land line, because with a land line you have no choice but to deal with Quest. And I want them to die. DIE!
Not that I'm bitter or anything.
