The hairy truth...

susandennisThe other day when I was looking in every nook and cranny of this house for that stupid Fujitsu file (which has yet to turn up!), I discovered several new Betty hangouts.
My suitcase is on a shelf in the closet. It is now totally covered in cat hair. I mean totally. And I was wrong about her favorite drawer in the fish bed. Turns out she has two. Both are filled with cloth sacks, purses, backpacks, etc. and each has a nicely worked out divot in the back again filled with Betty leavings.
If I gathered the hair in both drawers and on top of the suitcase, I could build at least two more Bettys.
I keep a nice throw on the purple couch just because that's a favorite nap spot and the throw keeps the purple couch purple instead of Betty cat hair colored.
Today my friend, Ann, made me her outing. She lives at the end of the hall and it is a long long long way when you have a brand spanking new knee and crutches. So she made me her exercise for today. When she got here, I snagged the throw so she could sit more safely on the couch. I folded it up and tossed it on the end. And forgot to put it back.
I just looked over and Betty has herself scrunched on it. How very thoughtful of her.
