Night guard report

FAB! It was a bit odd at first and there is one spot way in the back that has a rough spot that wears on my tongue, but... what a wonderful bladder control product!! Last night was the first night in literally years that I can remember sleeping all night long without getting up to pee!! Wild. dizzdvl pointed out that I can get that dental wax to help the rough spot. I can take it back to the dentist for smoothing down.

But, mainly, I'm thinking this thing is wonderful!! Off to the gym!

In reading your entry regarding your dentist...night guard etc...I would like to share something with you. If your dentist is advertising and/or claiming to be a Neuromuscular Dentist, please be advised that such terminology is for marketing purposes only. The ADA and the state of Washington do not recognize any such dental specialty. If in fact your dentist claims to be a "graduate" and or have been to a school and trained in NMD I respectfully ask you to relay that information to the Washington Dental Quality Control Commission. They would be interested in hearing about any NMD claims and or marketing material that lead you to believe the dentist is operating beyond the scope of General Dentistry. In reality, many dentist attend Continuing Education Seminars wherein NMD is "taught" Many ethical dental professionals view this NMD trend as nothing more than a profit center for dental practices and is based on unfounded science. I hope this entry is useful and saves you the pain and heartache I endured by putting my trust and $50,000 in the hands of a NMD "Gradaute" I like 1000's of US, Canadian and Australian NMD patients have learned the hard way...when it was too late. I think maybe my grinding clinching was what was waking me up but when I got awake, I went to pee so I always thought needing to pee was waking me up. It's my theory du jour anyway.
