Different Day...

I've got a full plate of work today and most of it is exactly the kind I like, one giant task - just let me at it and leave me alone.  I love it.  Plus it is cloudy and wonderfully pleasant out (and in) and there is a Mariner game on TV in 25 minutes.  What an excellent day!!

I do need to do a load of laundry here in a little bit and tidy up the kitchen.  

I am planning a little trip down south for tomorrow or Friday depending on which day looks better work wise.  Down south is Renton which is another world all together.  When there is no traffic, it is about a 20 minute trip.  There is Ikea, Walmart, Target, Fry's and then, on the way home, is a giant mall that was just renovated and I'd like to wander through it.  I have a list but really only a new coffee pot is critical plus I'm still trying to watch my pennies a little so mostly I'll be looking and not spending.  Happily all of these stores are just far enough away that I don't get to them often and a trip to them is a special deal.

I'm so easy to please sometimes.

Ok, time to get back on my project.  Copy, paste, hunt, find, copy, paste...

I need to make an Ikea trip to outfit my new house soon. Sadly my closest one is a four hour drive.

oh that bites it. My Ikea is, honestly, just the right distance away. I would be so tempted to run over there often if it was closer and I don't need that! I'll peruse on your behalf when I get there :).

I'm curious, what type of coffee pot do you use? I hate those Mr. Coffee things. I've got a Farberware 12 cup perk and I also have a Delonghi. The Farberware is still my fav.

right now I'm using a Hamilton Beach Brewmaster which I don't hate but... it is getting cranky on me. I need something that will keep the coffee hot for a while (in thermal carafe or in machine) with clock/timer feature. If my brewmaster behaves itself, I'm happy keeping it and for the last two days it's been on its best behavior so we'll see.
