susandennisAfter weeks and weeks of not having much work to do, this week has whupped my ass. It's all good but I am happy for the weekend. I have some work left over that I can do this weekend. Not much but enough to keep me happy.

NBC News just had a riveting story about New Orleans. The new hurricane and some of the people they covered during Katrina. Still now I can't get my head around what happened and what it was like to be there. And to be threatened again... I cannot imagine.

As I typed that the wind whipped up. The Tree That I Hate is whipping around back and forth and side to side. Wow. I mean really. Hope those Seahawks fans have seat belts. They are making so much pregame noise that I had to shut the door to hear the TV. I'm afraid now if I open it, I'll get blown out.

I am still considering taking tomorrow off from the gym. Just because I can. Maybe. But, I've cancelled the road trip. I just kind of lost interest. Plus, after much research the best deal on the coffee pot I settled on was at Sears and there is a Sears about a mile from here so I just went and bought it. It's a Plain Old Mr. Coffee with a timer and a thermal pot. It's small and nice looking and it was relatively inexpensive.

The Mariners are playing in Cleveland and the game was delayed by rain and I nearly forgot about it. Fortunately TiVo was on duty and I got the 1st inning on now. Time to put some ears on this latest bear...
