I could have gone into the gym this morning.  I was about 75% into the idea but I didn't.  I figure by tomorrow I'll be at least 100% or more.  And an extra day off won't kill me.  And, so far it hasn't.

Travis and I languished in bed with the computer and the newspaper.  He has gotten a lot better at not eating the newspaper.  I think the spray bottle on the night stand has provided him a nice incentive to stop.

The new coffee pot is a keeper.  The coffee is delicious.  It does not leak and I really like the smaller footprint.

I got an email this morning that my Kiva loan has been mostly repaid.  I made an initial loan and then, honestly, forgot about the whole program so today I was happy to go back and reinvest.  They have changed things around and made it better, I think.  The default donation is $25 so I was able to take my payback and make four loans plus donate some to the Kiva organization.  I do hope they use it to work on their website back end engine.  It is slow as freakin' Christmas.

I got cornfused on my Mariner schedule.  I thought the game today was at 10.  It's not on until 1 and it's not even on TV.  So... I think in light of that little development, I'll just put my gym shoes on and go take a walk.  The sun is out but it's kind of coolish, I think.  I can walk in the shade.  I think I'll trot up to Pike Place Market - just because I can.  With my camera.

So there.

I hate my coffee pot! It leaks all over the counter! I put it in a 13x9 pan. it's ridiculous.

Surely it's on Fox? We get the Tampa Bay-Baltimore game (which I might actually watch), but I'd expect you to get the one in which your local team is playing, even if it has no playoff implications.

The Fox Sports page just has Tampa-Baltimore and Philly-Chicago. I'll bet they originally thought Seattle-Cleveland would have playoff implications, but, because it doesn't, dumped it for Tampa-Baltimore. At the beginning of the season, they never would have picked Tampa-Baltimore for a national game.

Alas, I think you're stuck with radio. USSMariner just showed up on my blog feed, with their scheduling alert, including the phrase "no television."

Huh. I wonder when they changed it. Unless it was near the last minute (and it's been pretty obvious for a while that this game wasn't going to matter to anyone but Mariners and Indians fans), I'd have thought the time of the game would have been changed.

P.S. I did watch the Tampa Bay=Baltimore game, even though I knew I'd probably regret it. Fortunately, the Red Sox made it all better.

I should have watched that one. I watched Phillies-Cubs (both were carried by my cable system), and got to see the Phillies win, compounded by the Mets losing.

It was an insane game, and it went on way too long.

I just hope Baltimore's bullpen is just as ineffective in their next series.
