It's a miracle
Sep. 6th, 2008 02:50 pmI just found the Fujitsu folder. With all of the documentation and all of the software and 3 spare screen plastics! It was in the file drawer I had searched a bizillion times before. I thought I was looking for a green accordion folder marked Fujitsu. It was in a purple unmarked hanging folder. What.Ev.Er.
I feel like I've been stressing about this stuff since forever. I did replace the screen plastic. The instructions say it should be done every 3 months. I figure every 3 years is good and the old one had a little hole in it. I cannot believe I found that all of the CD's and software. Whew and whew.

I did not take a 20 minutes brisk walk.
I did eat 20 corn candies. Twice. Good enough, I think.
--
And had a wonderful faux seafood and avocado salad for lunch. My little market, yesterday, had these godzilla like avocados that were expensive ($3) but truly huge and ready to eat ripe. So I treated myself. I had some on a salad last night and then loaded up the lunch salad. I have about 3 more meals worth in this one damn avocado.
And the seed looks wonderful. I have a thing about growing avocado seeds. I even have special avocado seed growing dishes. I have 2. One is waiting for the new seed which is busy keeping the avocado fresh in the fridge right now. But the other one is here. Growing the seed from a previous feast.

I do not remember where I got these dishes, I think it was in North Carolina in the early 80's but that's unlikely since avocados were very hard to come by there in those days. I know I've had them for years and years and have never seen anything like them.

Am I the only person who looks at those two dishes and thinks "male" and "female"?
