susandennisToday was a good day at work. I got a lot done. But two things happened late in the day which left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm working with a vendor who is driving me nuts. The guy is slower than Christmas and thinks he's a far better communicator than he is. His project will be over soon (god willing), I just hope I can let him live long enough to finish it.
The other was a guy I work with. He's a good guy and sharp and generally interesting but he has this way of interacting that is so antagonistic. When he asks me to do anything he comes at it from the angle that I have failed in not doing it yet while, at the same time, being very defensive. It's frustrating to have a simple conversation with him. But, I think he knows it. I don't work for him and the stuff he needs me to do is 1) a volunteer effort on my part and 2) he has no other way to get this stuff done so I'm in the power seat. Probably why he attacks. No biggie just frustrating.
