Sprint OK!
Sep. 24th, 2008 01:22 pmWith the number that came with my replacement modem, I was able to get onto the Sprint website, into my account, see that they had credited me appropriately (and so canceled the other account), set up ebilling and automatic credit card payment!
I think that roller coaster ride is over and all is fine.
I still can't get the stupid lanyard thingie attached to the modem. I've done it with other tricky devices but this one is its own hell.
And if I had to have one unsolved issue, I'm fine with that one being it.

You know, they should come with them already threaded. You could always remove easily if you didn't want it.

Date: 2008-09-24 11:12 pm (UTC)Too expensive. This would require the sweat shop in Taiwan and the machine stamper in Mexico to ship the two units to the assembly center in Indonesia and then from there to the packaging house in Guam.
Easier just to shove the two pieces in a box and send them directly to you.
