Saturday randoms

susandennisI made it to the superstore and back before the Mariner traffic. Well, there was traffic but I remembered in time to take a crafty back door way home so I skirted most of it.
I got everything I wanted mostly at the superstore. I have apples in the house. Whew. Everything is put away and the bags folded and ready to go back down to the car.
My brother drove from Texas to Jacksonville, FL this weekend for a wedding. His wife couldn't go and one dog is too attached to his wife and the other dog is too young yet so it's just him and his iPhone. I'm getting routine updates and enjoying the heck out of them. He's having a great time visiting old haunts and the beach and seeing old friends. I'm glad for him.
LJ has a new little feature that I'm enjoying... From the nav bar, I can view anyone's journal using my style. There are a couple of communities I follow with styles that are just hard to read so I can flip on 'view in my style' and it's great. A couple of times, however, I've forgotten I had it turned on and am reading away thinking, when did I write that? or when did I add that person to my friends list?
I got my work work all caught up and am now just piddling around listening to the ballgame that is not on TV today.
The dentist finally sent me a bill. I can now get that all taken care of. Piddle, piddle, piddle. After that, TV and knitting. A lovely weekend.
