A Few Bits

I watched Sex and the City last night and all I can say is thankgod I did not waste my time or money at a movie theater for that one! It was nice to see the girls again but holey crap what a mess that was. It was like a parody of the series. Wow.

Even though the season sucked eggs, the last game is still kind of sad. I'll be glad to have the 3 hours a day back and to not lose every single freakin' game but still. It's hard to focus on the playoff races - it's somehow really confusing this year and, of course, our newspaper is not interested. Baseball and other sports web pages that would carry the information are just too messy with ads and popups to go digging around. I'll wait.

So far, this fall, the best new show I've seen is The Mentalist. The premise is a little suspect but so far, it's the only new thing I've seen when I was really looking forward to seeing it again next week.

Nice and quiet Sunday afternoon here at SDHQ.

it's too easy. i think people like to see the crime being solved without so many givens. i think simon baker needs to find some better roles or better shows.

there is a new brothers and sisters tonite (finally!), and i'm looking forward to that.

"The Mentalist" is the only one of the new shows that we even considered watching. We were not overly impressed, but we're going to give it at least one more chance. (I suspect henare is right that it's not going to last, anyway.)
