But those little fishies are the cutest little things. I love their puckered mouths and your expert needlework.
It doesn't matter to me anymore that you've chosen to ignore my comments. But, I have to say that I'm sure that God blesses your wonderful efforts and kind knitting projects that you regularly and generously give. How comforting it must be to a scared child!
Your family narrating and expecially your Mom chronicles are something that I'll never forget.
Just for the record, I'll always be glad and grateful that you were so nice and encouraging to me when I was newbie LJ. Besides, you have perfect taste i n reading. Mortal Fear is one of my top books of all time. I wish that Greg Iles would give us more of the same.
Thank you but I'm a little concerned about your remark that I have chosen to ignore your comments. I never ignore anyone's comments! And certainly not yours since you always say the nicest things. I'm sorry you think I'm ignoring what you say. I promise I am not!
Holy crap...there must be something seriously wrong with either my LJ or yours.
I've made lots of comments to you...and I think it's been since about the time that your Mom died that I don't think I've heard a peep from you. Wow!
I'll check back...and see what I can find in my own archives.
Whew...thank you so very much for replying this time. You already know how much I treasured your posts (and I still do!) and the wonderful postings about your Mom's Senior Housing and even Sissie's crap.
You were the very first LJ person that I read daily, admired and shared so much with.
Remember when Betty used to walk the halls on Sunday mornings? And pre- Travis times?
You gave me strength when I lost my own Alex and encouraged me to keep narrating about the Northridge Earthquake and desperately searching for my little Taffy and Al.
You told me about egg rolls at COSTCO, even though when I tried to find them, they no longer carried them.
Speaking of COSTCO, I took my little NOW 98 year old neighbor (remember Gilda? Now, she's now my landlady..as I moved from next door into Gilda's Guest House (OK, actually it's a tool shed built circa 1932) I'm serious. It's sturdy and it's cooler than my apt. upstairs and way cheaper.
My little Peke Joey is delighted as he does not have to climb steps nor beg to go down into the yard like before.
We now live on ground level where he comes and goes in and out as he pleases.
There's a little grey-striped kitty that showed up here in the backyard about 2 months ago. I saw her sleeping on my chaise lounge outside early in the morning and many mornings since.
Joey wants to be near a kitty again, but she's afraid.
I put food out for her daily and she eats it.
Anyway, Susan....I's so happy and glad and grateful to hear from you again.
I think you are confusing my not commenting on your comments with my ignoring them. I do not comment on every comment. I actually reply to maybe 30% of all the comments I get. I ignore 0%.
So, so cute. Was Drew's bear a member of this class or the one before? Either way, farewell cousins - I am sure you will bring many smiles wherever you go!
I've made more than 600 bears and about 30 fish and each and every one of them tickles me like the first one. I think they have magic dust in their souls.
I'm amazed at how quickly you turn these out. They are so adorable. Have you ever seen a little kid walking around with one of your creations? Just curious.
