No lunch line

susandennisI haven't been going to my deli across the street much because if I don't get there before 11:45 the line is too long and I've been trying to save money and it's been too hot.
But, today, I really needed a Reuben sandwich so off I went.
The deli is on the ground floor of the same building that my gym is in. The same building that was mostly single practitioner lawyers in the early 90's and dot coms in the late 90's and misc start ups until Starbucks bought it a couple of years ago and filled it up with Starbuckeons.
Now they are gone. They have all moved down the street to Starbucks HQ and the building is pretty much empty and there was no line at all at noon.
I hope the deli can survive. It has survived all the other transitions so, hopefully, it can survive this one. They make on hell of a Reuben sandwich!
