My hair is getting to the good length. Next time I want her to cut it to this length instead of the way shorter from the past couple of cuts. Now I have a pictorial explanation and don't really have to learn Vietnamese.

THAT'S the look and length I wanted - seriously. I wanted something I could make stand up, but since part of the reason I got my hair cut tonight is a shoulder injury that makes doing my hair difficult, so no spikes this time.

I actually pulled out my laptop to show the stylist my file of "can you make my hair do this?" pics. She thought it was a great idea and it really worked out well - she had me leave it open on the counter so she had the pictures to work from.
