Gym Report - exercise
Oct. 23rd, 2008 08:53 amOn Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, I do 30 minutes of exercises. Every other Saturday, I meet with Nadia to get new exercises (and so she can wear my ass ragged). On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, I do 30 minutes on the treadmill. My goal is only to get and retain stamina so I can do what I want to do. I am not looking to lose weight or pick up pianos.
I restate all of this because, I'm just not loving the exercise days and yet I know that 6 days of treadmill will never work. I'd get bored and quit. So restating the plan and the goals every once in a while hopefully helps.
I forget that on Tuesdays and Thursdays I need to go in a little later than usual. I use the weight area and the classroom and both stay a little crowded early on but clear out about 8:15. Especially when I don't have work calling, later is better.
I got through everything. Planks I hate. So I've started starting off with them to get them over with. This morning I was a fucking plank master! Weird. Usually I can manage 10 seconds or maybe 15 once. Today was 30+ twice. Wild.
The rest was not as stellar but I'm sweaty and it's done for the day. Shower time here.
