I have two training sessions now scheduled for week after next. I had thought that one was going to require travel - maybe out of town - but, it turns out that that neither will. And while both sessions are being held in Redmond, I will have the option of doing them via Live Meeting. Nice. I am such a lazy ass. I know what one of these training sessions is for but not the other. I could ask but why spoil the surprise??

And speaking of training, Nadia is moving me. She send an email saying she's going out of town so needed to move our Saturday session. She offered up Thursday morning and I took it. I hate Thursday morning before Nadia Saturdays at the gym so this will kill both those birds. Note to self: don't forget, Thursday morning 7:30. B There.

Am waiting for a process to finish processing. I've been working on some complicated stuff today. Stuff that makes me actually have to think which is soooo tiring plus takes so long plus takes so much longer with incoming emails interrupting me every 2 minutes. For the past hour, I've been working on one complicated bit and got it all done and at the end realized that I was able to do it so quickly because there were no emails.

hmmmm oh wait, no Outlook. I had accidentally shut it down. Lesson there, ya think?

Ok, process finished. Back to work.

I forgot to launch Outlook when I fired up the work computer a while back and was amazed at what a pleasant and productive morning I had. Since then, I've been waiting till 9 or 10 a.m. to launch it, and it improves my entire day.

Fortunately, in the work I do there are no actual (as opposed to imaginary) emergencies; if someone can't reach me for an hour or two to update a Web page, the world does not end. (-:

The people who might really need to reach me all work within a 20-foot radius, or have my phone number.
