Post #2 for the day

My first post of the day didn't get posted because even I am sick and tired of hearing about corporate hijinx and what stupid thing the assholes have done or are doing lately. Complaining here has even lost it's restorative value so, sorry, for those of you who were looking forward to the Fuckchop Fuckup Du Jour, it's not going to happen here. You can just move along.

I did just get a very cool email from a guy I used to work with. He was the receptionist at my last job (the dot com that folded). He was also in school. He has since gotten out of school with his MBA, joined an executive training program at Texaco and moved to the Bay area. He's also grown his little club of like minded buddies here into a Think Tank that is actually making money. He's really an amazing guy and great fun. And... he's in town and we are 'doing' lunch tomorrow!

Netflix pulled a fast one on me today. They skipped over my #1 choice which is listed as available now. If it's so available, why didn't they send it? If it's not available why don't they change the listing? A nit for sure, but they've been so perfect for me this time. Those silly willys.

And now I'm nearly ready for Six Feet Under, the second season... hmmmmm Am I going to have to wait 2 years to find out what happens?????

How do you think you will like living in the Bay Area? LOL.

I am from Northern California, and it is more expensive than Seattle.

Think he wants you on his team? Sounds like a great opportunity, but you love it where you are. Can't wait to hear about lunch.

I moved up here from the Bay Area... I'm not going back. He's not looking to hire but it sure is his turn to buy lunch!

Eat hearty!! Have fun. What did you think of the Bay Area? It was fun to live there in the 60's. I went to school and lived downtown and loved it. I lived not too far from the Haight district.

I had never been west of Denver before April of 1989 when I moved to San Jose. It was fascinating. I spent two and a half years exploring and discovering and just being amazed. But it was a difficult place to live. I did learn that the west coast was fun so I just moved up to Seattle. Perfect solution.

Very smart. I never lived as far down as San Jose, but did live in San Bruno. I was born and Raised in Napa Calif.
