A quick glance...

My Ameritrade account has consists of shares (very small numbers of shares) in 7 different companies:

Costco
Hormel
Krispe Kreme
Target
TiVo
Microsoft
MertcardoLibre (like eBay but in Brazil)

Right this minute, every one of those stocks is up.  Target, for instance, is up 6.31%)... every one except Hormel.

Yep, Spam is having a bad day.  Sigh.

That's the one I'd be excited about! You'd think Spam would be doing better in times like these. Shows what I know about mega-food corporations. :)

You'll be happy to know that by the close of market, Spam had joined the ranks of 'up'! And meat of the masses reigns on. whew!

Yeah, in a brilliant move last Friday I bought COST and AMZN. I'm breaking even between the two of them...

I don't trust eBay's management. That bone-headed purchase of Skype was enough to permanently put me off them.

I do love that you bought Costco but don't have your membership any more. My neighbor Ann dumped hers for the same reason you did. I'm taking her and Ron (her husband) with me when I make my Last Costco run until after the holidays on Saturday. Since I can't take you and Chris, I'm taking subs!
