Most of the developers in my office are really young and nice a great. One is particularly nifty and pretty shy. Several weeks ago when I wore my one wig that is a really different color than the others he, along with several others, complemented me on my hair and said 'did you get that done recently?' I quickly replied every time that it was a wig and lifted up the edge so they could see. This guy was just astounded, amazed and intrigued.
I told him that my 'hair' was always a wig. I don't think he believed me. For several days he stopped by with this question on his face and I said 'yep, a wig' and showd him. Today I wore the natural hair wig and he said 'no way!' and he leaned over to touch it. This was very flattering because 1) that he thought my wig was my hair and 2) that he was comfortable enough with me to do this. It was very cool. And he was shocked again when I lifted it up to prove it's wigginess. We got a good giggle out of it.
One of these days I'm going to wear my real hair again and shock them all - all over again. The haircut I got today was a really good one. I tried to get a good photo but failed. Sorry. Hard to believe how much time and energy I spend on hair.
