Ok, is it the war? Is it me? I have now sent emails to four - no five - websites who sell binoculars and all of whom advertise along the lines of: Don't know which one is right for you? Send us an email and we'll help...

None, not one, has sent a peep. Well, the last one did send an auto response. I'm so grateful just to hear something!

All I want to do is be a nosey neighbor. Who knew it would be so hard??!!

We have a spotting scope with a tripod but not this big. You might be able to identify
faces with this baby.

Thanks! I've sent them one of my emails... If I don't hear soon, then I will get on the 800 numbers but my experience is that 800 numbers are staffed bu order takers not recommendation makers. Since I'm so clueless, I'm hoping for some help.

Your 'spotting scope' tip is great - more info than I've gotten anywhere else! Thanks!
