Ok, down first. Because I did not obey the first law of knitting, I had to rip out a week's worth of work. Every knitting book ever written tells you to make a swatch first so you can measure and make sure your finished product will be what you expect. Swatch making sucks. But, this time I even made one. Well, kind of. I changed the stitch count and extrapolated and blew it. Had I continued this would have been the world's biggest afghan ever. So... rip out and start again. Oh well.

Thumbs up. The new Frontpage 2003 totally rocks. I started writing HTML by hand years ago. I learned markup languages way before HTML so was used to how it worked. The first couple of iterations of Frontpage pretty much sucked. I had a job where I had to use Dreamweaver and it really bit the big one. But, it did make me appreciate Frontpage and I've pretty much used it exclusively for the past few years. I did, however, have to do some pretty funky monkey shines to make it do what I wanted. Frontpage 2003 has removed the necessity for my having to do any monkeyshines at all. It is excellent.

Now I have stayed up too late screwing around with these things and I have a murder mystery calling me from the bedroom so... night, John Boy.

I feel your pain.

I hate swatches, but I have been burned far too thoroughly to ever not do them. I even do swatches if I've just used the same needles and yarn for something else. THey certainly are a pain.
