When customer serice rocks....

susandennisA couple of months ago I ordered a new thermos pot for my Black and Decker coffee pot. I wanted a spare. It arrived the very day I dropped mine and it shattered into a million pieces. So I called the people back and ordered another spare. These people are an outfit called Fox International and they, according to their telephone tree, handle the parts for a bunch of folks.
Anyway, this week, a couple of times I thought the pot was leaking and last night I looked at it carefully and it sure is! I looked all over the paperwork that came with the pot and no where does it even hint that anything is guaranteed. But, I figured I'd call this morning and just ask.
So I told the nice lady that I had really bad thermos karma and I was sorry that I had, apparently, inflicted it on to them. She asked me what my model number is and what my name is and then verified my address and said 'I'll get another one out to you today.' She even said she would ship it express so I wouldn't have to do without for very long but I told her not necessary as I had the backups.
What a great way to start the day.
