Clock watching

Nothing else needs to be done here at work today by me. I'm actually just sitting here trying to decide the best use of my afternoon off.

I need a manicure - the cuticle police have to be right behind me. I need some diet Dr. Pepper and ice cream. I need to vacuum my condo. I'm probably going to get some Kung Pao Beef for dinner.

And the beauty of it is that all of the above is optional. Well, the diet Dr. Pepper coupons expire on Monday.

How lucky I am to have such choices and such freedom to choose them.

I was in heaven that I got 4 hours home alone today. I took a bath, watched a movie, did computer stuff....but laundry and cleaning were thrown in there too. I'm thinking of making stir fry beef for dinner, but I'm not sure if the kidlets will go for that so I get to make two things for dinner. Tomorrow it's a 9 am Soccer game to start off a busy Saturday.

I just love hearing about a weekend of no-rushing, leisurely doing minor chores, reading the paper in bed, watching recorded programs with no commercials or people interruptions, not having to share the tv.....As I tell my parents when I'm leaving with my three rowdy kids...."Have a nice, quiet, evening!"
